From the fly: The coasts of Scilly and Cornwall have not long been a hazard to ships, but it was not until the latter half of the 19th century that the moving details of shipwrecks and their aftermath were recorded for posterity. This book brings together the superb photographs of the Gibson family of Scilly and Penzance together with contemporaneous newspaper reports.
Wrecks include the Minehaha, Zelda, Cviet, Suffolk, Castleford, King Cadwallon, and City of Cardiff amongst others.
