Life of Vice Admiral Lord Lyons. Much of the book concentrates on the naval operations in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azoff in 1854-56 when Lyons was 2nd in Command and then Commander in chief of the Mediterranean Fleet.

Hardback. No dust jacket. Slight rubbing to top and bottom of spine.  Blue book cloth cover with gilt lettering and gilt figure on cover. Slight foxing on endpapers. Small hole in the tissue covering the illustration on page 166 (see images). Otherwise in very good condition.
