From the back cover (translated): On 6 August 1926, for the first time, aman spent 10 minutes underwater without a surface supply line. With his diving suit, Commandant Le Prieur realised the dream of Jules Verne. The man-fish, more commonly called the Frogman, was born.

Le Prieur was an inventor in both diving and aviation with several inventions to his name. He never exploit his own inventions which he left to others to poularise.
