The Lost Ships, by P Throckmorton

The Lost Ships, An adventure in undersea archaeology
Peter Throckmorton

“We were attempting something that had not been done before, archaeological excavation conducted underwater according to land standards”, Peter Throckmorton. In 1958 hesailed and dived with Turkish sponge divers, the only mariners who could help him locate wrecks of antiquity. His most exciting find was a Bronze Age wreck, the excavation would appeal to the explorer and adventurer in each of us.
