Williamson including an account of the development of the “Photosphere” with which Williamson was able to photograph and later film scenes of life beneath the sea in the area of the Bahamas. The underwater scenes in the 1954 version of Jules Vernes’ 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea were a result of his efforts.
