Vasa, The King’s Ship, by B Ohrelius

Vasa, The King’s Ship
Commander Bengt Ohrelius

The royal ship Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and it was more than 300 years before she was raised on 4 May 1961. She became the best preserved 17th century warship in the world at the time. This book recounts the difficulties encountered in raising the vessel and preserving her.
