Hardback with blue leatherette cover and gilt lettering on front and spine. Top edges of pages gilded.
Ex library copy: Library catalogue numbers inscribed on spine Top and bottom of spine rubbed and spine faded but otherwise in fair/good condition. Library bookplate on inside front cover and library rules on front endpaper which is stamped ‘duplicate for disposal’. an oval library stamp is blind embossed on the title page and a few other pages. Title page also stamped ‘W 5-2126’ and reverse title page stamped and inscribed in pencil. Back endpaper has been torn out. Inside pages yellowed but in good condition.

Contents include: Historic Hampshire, Silchester, England’s first capital, Winchester Cathedral, Winchester College, New Forest, St Swithin, William Rufus, Beaulieu Abbey, plague in Southampton, Royal George.
