A personal account of the author’s experience during WW2 in the Battle of the Atlantic and the RN midget submarine flotilla from its inception. He saw action in the Atlantic and Pacific and was dischagred in Sept 1945 with British and American decorations. He also relates the story of sailing his yacht from his home town (Perth, Australia) to join the Parmelia Race from Plymouth UK via Capetown to Fremantle – which he won.
